Our members are part of an international network over 80,000 women strong,
dedicated to improving our communities in ways both big and small.
Women may join the UPWC for a variety of reasons -- camaraderie, education, advocacy, philanthropy, to share a talent, or to pursue an interest. Since 1941, as part of the General Federation of Women's Clubs, we draw strength from a larger network of women committed to service and learning.
EDUCATION & ADVOCACY
CAMARADERIE & SUPPORT
COMMUNITY & PHILANTHROPY
Our mission is one of promoting civic betterment,
community interests, and social wellbeing.
We support local schools, provide scholarships to graduating high school seniors, and participate in community service projects. With monthly programs on a variety of topics (the arts, current affairs, conservation and more), members enjoy exposure to many areas of interest.
Members find a supportive community of women with whom to share talents; lead new initiatives; participate in charitable fundraising; learn new things; give and get valuable support, and simply enjoy the company of other women.
We provide meaningful opportunities for clubwomen to volunteer, donate and fundraise. There is a special emphasis placed on supporting women and families who are affected by domestic violence.
“When we do the best we can, we never know what miracle is wrought in our life or in the life of another.”– Helen Keller
