About the event
Join us for the monthly UPWC meeting to learn about an exciting program in your own backyard. The University of Maryland’s Do Good Institute is a nationally recognized leader in social innovation, civic engagement, and student leadership. Serving both undergraduate and graduate students, the Do Good Institute engages students across all twelve colleges and schools, equipping them with the skills, resources, and experiences to launch initiatives addressing today's most pressing challenges -- from poverty and education to climate justice and public health. We'll learn more about the Institute and its signature "Do Good Pathway," a campus-wide model that supports students from their initial exposure to social impact through advanced leadership and project acceleration.
You are welcome to bring your lunch and a drink to have before or during the meeting. Two members each month volunteer to bring light snacks to share. Please volunteer for a future meeting through Carol D.
