About the event

Please join the University Park Woman’s Club as we welcome our guest speaker, Thomas Szymanski, on Monday, April 3, 2023. He will provide an overview of his work and a presentation on romance/fraud schemes targeting older members of our community.

Thomas Szymanski is a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Baltimore Division. Thomas has been a Special Agent since 2020, during which time he has worked on a squad tasked with investigating violent criminal activity in Prince George’s County. Thomas is also a member of FBI Baltimore’s Evidence Response Team and a Special Agent Bomb Technician-in-Training. Prior to working for the FBI, Thomas worked first for USDA, and then the U.S. Department of Labor on projects in Africa. Thomas graduated from Vassar College and currently lives in Prince George’s County.

The program will be in-person at the University Christian Church at the corner of Adelphi and Belcrest Roads in Hyattsville. Sign-in begins at 11:30 a.m. You may bring your lunch; wrapped snacks and water will be available. Please RSVP to Carol D or email the UPWC.
