Please join the University Park Woman’s Club as we welcome a special guest speaker Rosalind A. Morgan, PhD, to explore "Family Genealogy and the African American Experience in United States History.
Rosalind A. Morgan, a native Chicagoan, received an undergraduate degree from DePaul University, master's degree from Northeastern Illinois University, and earned a doctor of philosophy degree in Counseling Psychology from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. She has had an extensive career as an educator in city and state schools. She was also active in several professional organizations, notably including as a board member on the Dr. Melvin C. Terrell Education Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting excellence in the student affairs profession.
Following a remarkable thirty-six-year career, Ms. Morgan retired from Chicago State University as Assistant Vice President in Student Affairs, and tenured professor emeritus in the university’s Counseling Department. As a retiree in Maryland, her research interests…
